Breeders chose Critical Mass due to its ease of cultivation properties and high yielding capability, and the result was an Indica-dominant plant with 40% Sativa and 60% Indica. The strain also has equal CBD and THC levels, a relatively short flowering time and good yielding.

Medical Mass Cannabis Plants

Medical Mass has beautiful buds with bright green colouration and a few orange-yellow hairs. The outer coating is full of white trichomes that indicate its potent cannabinoid content.

Growing Medical Mass

Indoor-grown plants grow to manageable heights (60-100cm) and do not need a lot of space to thrive. You can grow your seeds in a cramped indoor space and still produce a big harvest of up to 500g/m2. Outdoor plants, on the other hand, grow to a height of 150cm and have yields of up to 550g/plant.

Plants have a short flowering time of about 7-8 weeks and do not need any form of specialised care to grow well. Growers are only required to trim the trim of the very top of the plant. This technique improves yielding as it encourages sideway growth instead of growing tall.
